A certification process administered by the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute that rates products in five categories: material health, material reutilization, renewable energy and carbon management, water stewardship, and social fairness.   An ingredient label for building products associated with the Living Building Challenge (LBC), which identifies whether a building product contains any chemicals on the International Living Future Institute (ILFI) Red List. This list has been compiled to represent the class of chemicals that should be avoided in commercial building products.










 
Health Product Declarations provide disclosure of the chemical composition of a product, including potential health hazards from those chemicals.   A third party verified program that determines the environmental impact of a product or system based on Life-Cycle Analysis (LCA) and Product Category Rules (PCR). Declarations include information on the environmental impact of raw material acquisition, energy use and efficiency, content of materials and chemical substances, emissions to air, soil and water and waste generation. Product and company information is also included.

 
 

FloorScore® is a third party indoor air quality (IAQ) certification standard for hard surface flooring materials, adhesives, and underlayments. Developed by SCS with the Resilient Floor Covering Institute (RFCI), a leading industry trade association of flooring manufacturers and suppliers, it qualifies for many green building schemes including LEED v4, WELL, BREEAM, and CHPS.


 

Patcraft meets the Health Care Without Harm Healthy Flooring criteria at the Silver level as outlined in the Healthy Flooring Guidance document.
